S + 自己 + VP / N自己 refers back to the person already mentioned and often means oneself, one's own or by oneself.
AABB adjective reduplication
AB → AABBSome two-syllable adjectives can be reduplicated to make a vivid descriptive expression.
Nominal predicates
S + noun/number phraseFor age, date, price and some identity information, Chinese can use a noun or number phrase directly as the predicate.
Modifiers before nouns
modifier + 的 + NPut descriptive or possessive information before a noun, usually with 的 when needed.
有 for quantity and possession
S + 有 + quantity + NUse 有 to state possession, existence or an approximate amount associated with a person or thing.
