Which HSK flashcard deck should you use?

Use the deck for the level you are currently studying. HSK 1 is the smallest starting deck at 300 words. HSK 7–9 remains one 5,600-word advanced deck because the current syllabus publishes Levels 7–9 as a combined vocabulary band.

HSK 3.0 source and data boundary

The deck membership, Hanzi, pinyin and syllabus fields come from the current HSK 3.0 vocabulary data used by HSK One. English meanings are supplemental dictionary enrichment for study convenience. See the HSK 3.0 reference and editorial policy for source and review boundaries.

HSK flashcard questions

Are all HSK 3.0 vocabulary words included?

Yes. The seven published decks total 11,000 records: HSK 1–6 plus the combined HSK 7–9 band.

Do I need an account to use the flashcards?

No. The current flashcard review state is stored in your browser.

Does progress sync between devices?

No. Browser-local storage means a second browser or device starts with its own review state.

Why are HSK 7–9 flashcards combined?

The source syllabus publishes Levels 7–9 as one advanced vocabulary band, so HSK One preserves that grouping instead of inventing separate lists.

What is the difference between Vocabulary and Flashcards?

Vocabulary is the searchable reference layer. Flashcards use the same words for active recall and spaced review.
