Which HSK level should you start with?

If you are new to Chinese, start with HSK 1. If HSK 1 is already comfortable, continue to HSK 2 and then HSK 3. The level calculator can help you choose a starting point.

Is HSK One using the current HSK 3.0 syllabus?

Yes. The learning and reference products use the current HSK 3.0 source data maintained by this project.

Can I study HSK 1, HSK 2 and HSK 3 here?

Yes. All three levels have Courses, Exercises, Listening, Reading and Mock Tests. HSK 3 also includes Productive Writing.

Can I study HSK 4–9 here?

You can use the all-level Vocabulary, Characters, Grammar, Flashcards and Writing references. Full Course and exam-practice paths for HSK 4+ are being developed sequentially.

Do I need an account?

No. Current progress and review features use browser-local storage.
