上大学以后，许然第一次离开家和同学合租。以前在家时，他很少做饭，也不太注意打扫房间，总觉得这些家务会有人安排。After starting university, Xu Ran left home for the first time and shared an apartment with classmates. At home he rarely cooked or cleaned, assuming someone else would arrange such chores.

互相 + verb
Use 互相 or 相互 when two or more people act toward one another; 故意 marks intentional action.
Jiārén yīnggāi hùxiāng bāngzhù, bú yào gùyì bǎ suǒyǒu jiāwù liú gěi yí ge rén.家人应该互相帮助，不要故意把所有家务留给一个人。Family members should help one another rather than deliberately leave all the housework to one person.

Zuòfàn, dǎsǎo, zhàogù lǎorén děng jiātíng shìwù dōu xūyào tíqián ānpái.做饭、打扫、照顾老人等家庭事务都需要提前安排。Family tasks such as cooking, cleaning and caring for older relatives all need advance planning.
