Published 2026 HSK Levels 1–6 calendar
The official 2026 calendar lists eleven regular HSK Levels 1–6 and HSK Speaking dates. The table below summarizes the published test date and the paper-based and internet-based registration deadlines.
Deadlines are not interchangeable. Paper-based registration normally closes earlier than internet-based registration, and an individual test centre may not offer every listed date or level.
| Test date | Paper-based deadline | Internet-based deadline |
|---|---|---|
| January 24 | December 28, 2025 | January 14 |
| March 22 | February 23 | March 12 |
| April 11 | March 15 | April 1 |
| May 16 | April 19 | May 6 |
| June 28 | June 1 | June 18 |
| July 18 | June 21 | July 8 |
| August 23 | July 27 | August 13 |
| September 13 | August 17 | September 3 |
| October 17 | September 20 | October 7 |
| November 7 | October 11 | October 28 |
| December 13 | November 16 | December 3 |
HSK 7–9 has separate advanced test dates
The same official 2026 calendar lists two HSK Levels 7–9 advanced sessions: May 9 and November 22, both as internet-based tests at a test centre. HSK 7–9 is shown as one combined advanced examination band rather than three separate date calendars.
This is why a page that lists only the eleven Levels 1–6 dates is incomplete when describing the full HSK 3.0 testing landscape. The advanced band has its own published dates and deadlines.
The May 9 session had an April 25 registration deadline and a June 9 result date. The November 22 session has a November 8 registration deadline and a December 22 result date according to the published calendar.
| HSK 7–9 test date | Format | Registration deadline | Result date |
|---|---|---|---|
| May 9, 2026 | iBT at-center | April 25 | June 9 |
| November 22, 2026 | iBT at-center | November 8 | December 22 |
Test dates do not guarantee local availability
A published date is not a confirmed seat. Test centres can offer different combinations of dates, levels and formats, and capacity can close before the global deadline.
After choosing a date, search for the country, city, level and format in the official system and confirm availability before arranging travel or relying on a result deadline.
Paper-based and internet-based formats
The Levels 1–6 calendar includes paper-based and internet-based testing at centres. The HSK 7–9 advanced dates in the 2026 calendar are listed as internet-based at-centre sessions.
Choose the format based on what the centre actually offers and how you have practised. Screen reading, keyboard input and audio equipment can affect performance, so complete realistic practice in the booked mode.
How to plan backwards from the date
Reserve the final two weeks for full-section and mock-test practice rather than learning large amounts of new material. Before that, use task-based lessons and exercises to repair vocabulary, listening and reading gaps.
A simple schedule is: choose the intended date, set a private decision deadline before the official registration deadline, complete a full mock before paying, and leave time to resolve document or payment problems.
- Eight to twelve weeks before: finish the main course scope
- Four to six weeks before: practise weak skills by section
- Two to three weeks before: take a full timed mock
- Before the registration deadline: confirm centre, format and documents
- Final week: review errors and test-day procedure
Separate regular dates from named HSK 3.0 trial sessions
The January 31 HSK 3.0 global trial was a separate special session and should not be confused with the regular January 24 calendar date. The trial covered Levels 1–6 even though the overall HSK 3.0 framework contains nine levels.
Use this article as a planning reference, then verify the live booking page because operational notices and local availability can change.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I find HSK test dates for 2026?
Use the published 2026 test calendar and then confirm availability with the test centre where you plan to register.
Does every test centre offer every date?
No. Centres may offer different dates, formats and levels, and places can fill before the registration deadline.
How early should I register?
Register as soon as your preferred centre opens the session, especially when you need a specific format or score-report date.
Are paper and computer registration deadlines the same?
Not always. Check the deadline for the exact format you selected.
How do I choose a test date?
Work backward from the date you need the score, allow time for result release and leave enough weeks to complete course review and mock tests.
