Position nouns for directions
place + 东 / 南 / 西 / 北 / 北方 / 东方 / 南方 / 西方 / 中间Use direction nouns to locate a place or describe where something is relative to another place.
Multiple modifiers before a noun
demonstrative / description / verb phrase + 的 + nounSeveral pieces of identifying information can appear before a noun. Keep the noun at the end and use 的 where the modifier needs it.
把 sentences with a concrete result
S + 把 + O + V + location / recipient / resultUse 把 when an action clearly changes, moves, gives or otherwise affects a known object.
Existential appearance and disappearance
place + V + result / direction + 了 + quantity + person / thingThis existential pattern presents something appearing at or disappearing from a location.

Describe a home before moving in
You are deciding whether a new home is suitable. Describe the building and rooms, ask about facilities and the neighbourhood, and explain how you will move in.
Your task
- State where the home is located, including a floor or nearby place.
- Mention at least two home facilities or pieces of furniture.
- Ask one practical question about moving, transport, neighbours or building access.
- Use at least five Lesson 09 words and give one evaluation of the living environment.
